Liz is a UK based freelance photographer and writer. She holds a BA (hons) in Photography with Journalism and National Certificate (NCE) in Photojournalism and Videojournalism.

Her roots are in the press industry, having spent a number of years in Britain working as a regional staffer, before living and working in Vancouver, BC. Her work, both written and photographic has being published in The Times, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph and The Herald amongst many other titles both printed and online.

Working in press has allowed Liz to hone her skills in a number of fields, Portraiture, Fashion, Sport, Wedding, Studio and Travel to name a few, before branching out into the Broadcast realm. She also specialises in carrying out projects worldwide for the third sector with clients including World Vision, Vision Aid Overseas, Concern Worldwide and Hope and Homes for Children. Her work has taken her to projects across the globe including destinations such as, Ghana, Romania, Canada and Cuba.

Her work has been exhibited in Manchester, London, Preston and Northamptonshire. Most recently she has been part of a group exhibit within Proud Galleries London as a winner in the Renaissance Photographic Competition. Liz is no stranger to the competition circuit. She came second in The Times Young Photographer of the year 2008 competition, was longlisted for The Guardian International Development Journalism competition 2010, a finalist in The Travel Photographer of the Year 2010 contest and highly commended in the International Photography Awards 2010.

Liz is also a talented writer who can deliver the full package of copy and quality imagery.
